Michael Murphy

Regional Manager, Northern

As Regional Manager Northern, Michael Murphy oversees Intergen’s steadily growing Auckland office. Murphy brings a wealth of IT and consulting experience to this role, as well as strong strategic leadership skills.

Michael has worked in the IT industry in New Zealand for more than 15 years, having previously worked for Andersen Consulting, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM and CGNZ. Prior to joining Intergen in early 2011, Michael worked for Hewlett-Packard New Zealand as Channel Manager for Enterprise Storage, Servers and Networking.

Michael has a Masters degree in Natural Sciences from Kings College, Cambridge University. He lives with his wife and two sons and coaches two successful youth football teams in his spare time.
