Murray Newman

Chief Financial Officer

After qualifying as a chartered account with Deloitte in 1993, Murray headed for the UK and returned in 2006 when he joined Intergen.

During his time in London, Murray worked solely for professional service firms and spent time with such organisations as Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Clifford Chance. His last role in London was as the Finance Director of a nationwide law firm.

In addition to Murray's CFO responsibilities, he is also the Company Secretary for Intergen's Board of Directors and the General Manager of Intergen's Corporate Services team.

Murray says: "Supported by a great team, it's my role to manage Intergen's finances and its core adminstrative functions so that they are one less thing for our directors to think about."

"People mostly don't equate accounting with fun, but being CFO of Intergen IS fun. The variety of people I work with, the challenges I deal with and the culture make it easy for me to say that I love coming to work every day." Murray Newman
