Laurie Hogg

Strategy Management Officer

Gung-ho about business transformation, and driven by the achievement of organisational goals and objectives (particularly Intergen’s), Laurie is Intergen’s Strategy Management Officer.

Following her graduation from Massey University with a Bachelor of Business Studies in Human Resource Management back in 2000, Laurie headed offshore to begin a career in IT, initially in Project Coordination.  Her passion for business process improvement and change management steered her in the direction of Business Analysis, which she continued throughout her OE in Sydney and later London, to eventually bring her back to Wellington where she worked in a combination Business Analysis/Project Management role contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time, to budget, on function and on quality.

Joining Intergen in 2005, she was involved in growing the Business Analysis capability at Intergen, moving into a team lead capacity.  Her interest in business transformation and solid grounding in Intergen’s business landscape landed her the role of Intergen’s Enterprise Analyst. More recently she has taken up the mantle of Strategy Management Officer as a result of an initiative Intergen underwent to implement a new business strategy and supporting business system, in April 2008.

Her role is focused on supporting and nudging the Leadership Team gently yet firmly along the path to achieving  Intergen’s goals and objectives, as well as championing internal improvements to ensure the success of the organisation’s strategic direction.
